Megan Maxwell

Megan Maxwell19 year old Megan Maxwell has been missing since Sunday, April 26, 2009. She called a friend at 4:27am after checking in on her father at his home in Newport, Tennessee. She said she would be home soon, but never made it.

Less than two hours later that same morning, at 6:10am, Megan’s car (a red 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse), was discovered in flames on East Highway 25/70 in Cocke County, TN by a passing off-duty police officer. It was found just a few feet from the bank of the French Broad River. The car was completely destroyed and there has thus far been no sign of Megan.

Megan's family and police investigators are desperate to find Megan and are asking the public for any clues that might lead to locating her.
